Tailwise was born from personal experience. Like many first-time dog owners, I found myself overwhelmed when I brought home my pit bull mix, Lexi, 12 years ago. Despite my best intentions, I struggled to get her to listen and behave well. It was a challenging and sometimes frustrating experience.
Determined to give Lexi the best life possible, I dove headfirst into the world of dog training and behavior. I read countless books, attended workshops, and consulted with professional trainers. Slowly but surely, Lexi transformed into a well-mannered, sociable dog that was a pleasure to be around.
When I adopted my second dog, Buddy, a golden lab mix, two years ago, I was able to apply everything I had learned. The difference was night and day. Buddy’s puppyhood was a joy, and he quickly became a well-adjusted, obedient companion.
